Description
My aim as a psychotherapist is to walk with you on the path of challenge, building connection to your most authentic self and developing resourcing along the way. I offer a caring and nonjudgmental space to explore all parts of the self, connecting to needs, boundaries, and self-worth. I am a mindfulness-based psychotherapist, specializing in self-esteem, anxiety, life-transition, and trauma in young adults and adults. I am a neurodiversity affirming therapist, supporting individuals in finding strategies to navigate their world. I pull on my previous role as a life coach/mentor, implementing individualized goals and tangible approaches to improve day-to-day life. My practice is informed by Gestalt, Internal Family Systems, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Nonviolent Communication, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other empirically-based modalities held in a trauma-informed framework. I emphasize multicultural mindfulness, openly naming identifiers and exploring how privilege and marginalization may show up in the room.
