Service Description
Are you working with ADHD, Autistic, and/or trans clients? Then you're working with suicidality. New research indicates that neurodivergent individuals are at greater risk of suicidality and that they have unique support needs in this arena. Many of our clients who reach out to crisis support don't get the help they need. Become a therapist who can properly support ND clients before a life-threatening crisis occurs. Objectives: 1) Learn why these populations are at a higher risk for SI/SH 2) Assess for suicide risk factors 3) Apply Polyvagal Theory to reduce suicide crisis 4) Learn ND-affirming safety planning What You'll Receive: 1) Safety Planning Handout for Clients 2) ND-Affirming Nervous System Chart to Use With Clients 3) Discount to Polyvagal Theory Training (Limited Time Offer) Training occurs live on Zoom with a recording available for 2 weeks after.
